The Buff Orpington

Buff Orpingtons are really cute. I am also partial to Wyandottes, Plymouth Rocks, Dominiques, and Brahmas. Did you know that a hen lays a fresh egg every 27 hours? And younger hens lay smaller eggs than older hens. This is not a hen, though, it is a rooster. And yes Virginia, that is a tree frog!

I laughed out loud when I clicked on the illustration, wondering what the heck that green stuff was, and found out it was a tree frog. LOVE IT!

One of the things I love about living in Minnesota is the easy access to fresh, free-range eggs. I didn't get this kind of luxury on the East Coast. The video rental store my Hubs and I frequent sell eggs (on the cheap!) from the chickens they let roam in their backyard. So you can stop in for a movie and some eggs. It is AWESOME!

You're funny! Maybe videos and eggs will prompt other odd couples to take off, like spaghetti and blueberry muffins! (We actually have that for dinner quite a lot at our house- my Mom used to make it all the time for us when I was a kid!)
