Bear Claws
This is a bit of a new painting I just completed for my illustration class. I'll post the whole thing when I get a better photo. Working on this made me realize how much I enjoyed working at Bridgeman's in college. Really nice customers, great co-workers, fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches, chocolate malts, and an awesome jukebox so we could listen to tunes all day. I think I played "I Only Have Eyes For You" by The Flamingos every shift I worked...

Is the duck trying to fly away without paying the bill? Mel may look cuddly, but I bet he won't stand for that!
This is fantastic Nina! You surely have mastered your watercolor style! Can't wait to see the full image
this is looking great, nina! and chocolate malts with grilled cheese sandwiches? sounds really yummy!
Very fun! Was the duck having snails as a snack? I like that one snail may have escaped. Looks great!
Hey Nina, I'm seeing decidedly more saturated color here! Good job!
Shoo Fly Pie.... hmmm, isn't that pie mostly molasses?
Haha, super cute painting Nina! That sounds like it was an awesome place to work, really cozy and classic.
it's great, nina! such great expressions on your creatures' faces...
I love the characters! Their faces are adorable!
The duck is going to pay the bill, but I don't know where he keeps his wallet... and there are indeed a couple runaway snails! Best grilled cheese sandwiches around and the chocolate malts were amazing. I had such a great time with this, thank you all for your kind comments!!!
