Cookies and Cream

While attending a lecture on canine pregnancy at my vet tech convention, I was doodling in my notes and thought I'd post it. Either I am not a very good lecture attendee, or I just can't help myself.... I did learn that you should never deliver puppies pre-term because their bones mineralize right before they are born. I miss helping with c-sections, there is nothing cuter than newborn puppies, especially with the little squeaky noises they make. Oh, cookies and cream ice cream was the winner of our last poll, and looks like liver is winning the ickiest food poll at the moment. I know it got my vote. Eeew, my kid just sneezed all over me. That's all for now.

not only is this a darling sketch, it also cracked me up because this is exactly how my work notes used to look! i'd start with a nice, neat notebook full of process maps and merchandising strategies. then the doodles crept in until they totally took over. by that point, i wasn't listening anymore. at least you learned something!

Love the sketch honey, but what's the deal with the food list - I like all of these foods ... a lot....

What about something like sweatbreads or monkey brain or scrapple (which of course I love, but could understand why you wouldn't)?

Hope the day is going well - love you!

Thanks to Aimee, a fellow doodler! As for you, Ookla- scrapple, sweetbreads, and monkey brains are almost universally understood as icky food items. This poll was geared more towards easily obtained foods. Thanks for voting! :)

I'm surprised liver is getting the bums rush. I love turkey and goose liver, fried up with onions on Thanksgiving or made into giblet gravy. Mmmmm.

Love the doodle. You should see what I'd drawn during my Homeowners Association Meeting.

Christina- my husband would probably love to have liver and onions with you. I'll be at Perkins having pancakes!
