Deer Me
Busy sketching away for my current project. Making little spot illustrations like this just fills me with happiness. Fawns are often born as twins, I gave one fewer spots that the other to make sure they didn't look identical. In about a year, this sketch will be worth 2 Bucks!!!

Goose, Goose, Duck
The sobbing fellow in this illustration does not reflect my experience at the NESCBWI conference. I had a really nice time! This painting was part of my homework assignment for an illustration academy I signed up for. Walking away from the conference with new ideas, great feedback, and a great big high from meeting so many talented people in person. It will be a great experience for me to draw on in the future! ;)

Gnu England
Hopping on an airplane tomorrow morning to the NESCBWI conference.
This is the poster I made for their poster contest: the theme is A Whole New World. Wouldn't it be fun to see GNU Zealand play the GNUnited States at the World Cup? I had a really fun time searching through old soccer posters and learning all about uniforms (the New Zealand All Whites are nicknamed "Ferns" and their away uniforms are all black; not to be confused with the All Blacks, New Zealand's rugby team). So while these fellas are gnu to football, their uniforms are pretty authentic, minus corporate sponsorship. ;)
I'll be sure to post about the conference when I get back home again.
Wish me luck! Hope you are all well! xoxo

Upsy Daisy
These are some daisies I drew for a gal I used to
live on the same street with when we were kids.
She is marrying her sweetheart in June and
needed some flowers for her wedding invites.
Please join me in wishing Sarah and Joseph
a lifetime of love, health, and happiness!
