Fowl Play

This is my entry for the SCBWI Tomie dePaola Award. Oh, to snuggle a baby fox!
I woke up last Friday morning with this song in my head, and it all just came together...
It is also a small tribute to one of my all-time favorite movies:
If I am ever in a fight, I want Burgess Meredith on my side. Far Out!!!

I love your foxes! Baby foxes are the cutest. Though my 3 year old is terrified of foxes right now. :)

Those are adorable foxes, Nina! I love your inspiration for them, too. Will we see more of them somewhere?

My first visit on your website because of the commenting challenge. I went back to see the November story/sketches, very filled with adventure and feelings. And then the darling foxes. Good luck on your contest; the picture brings up many stories that could be!

Completely adorable! Inspiration comes from the most interesting places. My daughter used to make me play the The lonely Goatherd scene over and over when she was a few years younger.
