Zoo Haiku

Hello! I went out to the Como Zoo with a fine bunch of illustrators and writers last weekend to do a little sketching. This one was my favorite, and I wrote a tiny haiku to go with it (pardon my messy handwriting). Many thanks to the slow-moving tortoises who made this sketch possible (and to Alicia Schwab who organized the outing and inspired me to draw swirls on my tortoise shells).
